Hi Hi. Thanks for liking the character. Lol. So many people asked me that question. This was supposed to be an entry for a character design contest. You'll often see the solid painting(emphasis on design element) in many character designs. The unfinished look was to emulate that. I do promise to finish it.
What a delightful creation! I love her wink and smile, the sexy and pretty outfit she's wearing which displays her charms so well and her nifty staff. She looks like she is having such a delightful time. She has to be a good sorceress - at least in terms of magic.
did all you have to do to enter the contest be sides drawing this epic character was putting into the right section - contests/2010/fantacy Earth Zero-? I'm not seeing my entry come up and I'm getting a little worried that I missed something. This is a really nice entry btw
Thanks, lol, thanks. 'Epic' is high praise indeed. Uhm ... actually what i did was go to the contest page, click on the submission button. However, i wouldn't be too worried if your submission has a fantasy zero banner underneath your picture. I think that's an indication that your entry was accepted. As for you entry not showing up ... the same thing happened to my sister's entry... Strange...
Well, i'm gonna scoot over to your page and take a look at your work. Thanks.
Thank you for the kind comments! But, lol, you've got good eyes. Heh.
(psst ... this is supposed to be secret, but I'll spill it anyways... lol)
Yeah ... i think what you're catching onto is the 'unfinished' nature of the character. To put it simply, I was running out of time. I had originally planned to have her perform a victory pose. The arm that's outward seemingly reaching out to nothing - or an impromptu magic ball, was supposed to be holding her mage cap. She was basically doffing her hat in victory. And winking conspiratorially.
I ran out of time. lol. But do stay tuned, as i fully intend to release a more complete version of this. If allowed that is.
